Saw so many turtles. Wonderfully located hotel. A bit pricy but loved our stay

Excellent location with a very large lawned approach to the beach and plenty of sun loungers. The breakfasts were very good as was their separate dining room - The Crab Shack. Staff everywhere in the hotel were always very helpful and cheerful.

Shower drainage was slow - poor gradients. Toilet flushing in bedroom was also poor and needed several engineer visits to try and sort the problem.

We spent 2 nights with our family (grandparents and us with toddler). Highlights were: The outside facilities. Both pools (kids pool and main pool) were used a lot by us. The location: stepping out of the property to be directly at the reef with turtles is just amazing. The view is spectacular. Many nice restaurants and shops in walking distance. The breakfast buffet: selection and variety of foods, attention of staff, and the restaurant ambience were really nice. We also had room service which was excellent.

The room interior itself is out of date. They could easily improve (and also need to) to fulfill nowadays expectations on their hotel category / standard. It’s just not modern anymore. The umbrellas around the pool are fixed and can’t be adjusted to the location of the sun. This reduced the comfort, especially as a family that needs more than two sun-beds in the shade. When checking in, they told us we would need to pay an extra fee if we want to pay in the local currency by card. This was already a very surprising procedure. Therefore, we decided to pay in USD by card. 4 days after check out our credit card was charged without permission by the hotel. We spoke to our bank and they informed us that it was an exchange rate settlement by Hikka Tranz. When contacting the hotel about it, they investigated, but did not trust our word neither accepted the details on the transaction and the statement by the bank. They just said they can’t find this transfer. I have never experienced anything similar like this: an unauthorized payment after checking out with a complaint being ignored by the responsible. Be careful what they actually charge you at any point. And don’t expect customer oriented behavior after checking out. The breakfast, the pool and the location can’t balance the high price we paid in combination with this post-unauthorized payment - we most probably would not stay here again unless they make some changes, also in regard of their ignorance.

The location was amazing. The beach was right by the hotel. We got to swim with turtles & also watch the sunset while sitting in our balcony. They cleaned our room perfectly every day & had arranged little elephants out of towels & left them on our beds with flowers!

The waiter at the breakfast buffet on the public holiday was quite rude. Everyone else was friendly and helpful though.

The outside area is amazing - two pools, outdoor bar, beach access. Turtles swim right up to the beach here and you can feed them and swim with them. The buffet breakfast is excellent. Lots of variety and delicious.

The actual building is a little old so the rooms are a bit outdated. The staff at reception were quite rude. This stood out bc we had such amazing service everywhere else in SL. When we asked any questions it felt like we were inconveniencing them.

Great location, amazing seeing all the turtles off the beach. Staff mainly very nice and welcoming. Food great.

Great location, lovely grounds and pool area

This hotel also seems to be an all inclusive / package holiday resort and attracts some pretty loud guests. The pool area has some trashy trance / house music playing very loud even in the morning. Rooms are old and dated. Gym was in a basement with rusty old equipment. Bar food at the pool takes a long time.

The Hotel is exceptional.The location of the hotel is amazing with the pool for babies and adults. Just walk and you will reach the beach. A lovely spread of breakfast. Staff is helpfull.

A chic hotel with probably the best location. There are a lot of animals on the territory parrots, chipmunks and turtles. A great quiet backwater where you can swim even in the rain. The hotel has good delicious food, clean large very beautiful territory. Excellent rooms with everything you need and a magnificent view.

I really didn't like the attitude of some of the staff. There is no possibility of early check-in and late check-out. We were refused early check-in. Some staff are friendly and helpful, but not all unfortunately. We were greatly confused by the paper bracelets required to be worn throughout the entire stay. This is a very good hotel, but bracelets originally from the 2000s were worn by visitors to nightclubs. It's not very nice and it's not very pleasant to wear such marks on your hand throughout the rest. I have seen more than once how hotel guests refused to wear them and they had conflicts with the guards. The guards pull everyone who is without bracelets. It really spoils the impression of rest and you feel like you are in the territory of some correctional camp with these bracelets. If it is really for security purposes, you can offer guests beautiful bracelets made of shells, rubber or leather that are not ashamed to wear and it is nice to leave as a souvenir. Just as the bracelets, as I understand, were of different colors, we had a suite and they were purple, the other guys had different colors. This, as I understand it, is to distinguish the level of the guest, which in my opinion is also not very correct and pleasant.

The hotel location is amazing and the service and staff is very friendly, we enjoyed the stay.

good location to see the turtles

Excellent location, beautiful pool, great breakfast spread - Nandini at the hoppers counter is so lovely, smiling and making these delicious fresh hoppers for everyone. Wonderful staff overall, very helpful and smiling always.

Check in took awhile, more than half an hour, they could work on that. Staff woke us up early in the morning on Saturday to ask what time they could clean the room. No clue why.

The hotel location is perfect and the beach is amazing. The room is good size but the washroom is small though really small. Breakfast was good and had a good selection but dinner was not that great.

What I didn't like was the staff from the front desk counter did not do a proper check in and thought we are locals when we clearly gave our foreign passports to check in and then on top of that, they thought im the tour guide and driver and my wife and the toddler is who I'm driving around. DO NOT ASSUME LIKE THAT. that is really bad customer service from the front desk staff. and the management needs to train the staff properly from the front desk to the restaurants as they only look at "White people" any one else that is not white they assume everyone is local. realy bad.

Very nice pool. Restaurant with tables outside and nice views. Good breakfast. Big rooms provided with everything you need. Very attentive staff, including reception, cleaners and restaurant.

Friendly staff, including a fantastic chef who made us gluten free bread, cake and cookies for breakfast. Great facilities and spotlessly clean. Rooms are large and well equipped. Comfortable beds. Great pool!

Common areas lack atmosphere due to size of the hotel

The Breakfast was exceptional. I am a strict vegetarian and there were many vegetarian options.

The Room was good but only issue is that the Smoke Detector is installed just above the bed where you have the pillow so the blinking light from that detector was disturbing. The Beach was all Rocky so not very enjoyable. Anyway I don't want to be negative here because it was off season and the sea was very rough so maybe in good seasons the sea is calm and beach would be enjoyable

The property was very spacious and clean. Loved the little decorations on the bed.

We had a delay in the check-in but other than that the service was great
